Royalty on the Rise: Honoring the 2025 Queens of the Court at the Matriarch Classic

The 2025 Matriarch Classic was a celebration of skill, spirit, and sisterhood. From the first whistle to the final crown, these young lady hoopers brought the energy, passion, and determination that define the future of girls’ basketball. As always, it was an honor to recognize standout performances throughout the weekend and spotlight the athletes who earned the title of Queen of the Court.

Divided into six age divisions, each group of young ladies showed out with poise and power. Whether it was being a fantastic teammate or showcasing oustanding sports-"woman"-ship, every Queen left her mark on the hardwood—and we’re here to celebrate them all.

A huge thank you to Hop Step Sporting Events for hosting and having me out for the second year in a row. I love networking with programs and families, and there’s something truly special about supporting an all-girls tournament like the Matriarch Classic.

This event is always run with care, heart, and precision—and it shows. The games were fun, the competition was high-level, and the girls had an absolute blast being honored as Queens of the Court.
